About Us
SomaTech was born from the shared vision of Ananya Das and Kshiti Kangovi, two engineers passionate about sustainable innovation. The idea took root during a late-night brainstorming session, sparked by their desire to address real-world agricultural challenges with cutting-edge technology. Both had noticed a gap in accessible, intelligent irrigation systems that truly met the needs of farmers facing water scarcity.

With Ananya’s background in hardware systems and Kshiti’s expertise in machine learning, they set out to build a solution that could do more than just monitor crops. They envisioned a system that could think ahead, adapt to changing conditions, and conserve one of our most precious resources: water. Their collaboration led to the development of SomaTech, a smart irrigation platform that integrates AI-driven predictive analytics with biodegradable nanohydrogels to optimize water usage in diverse agricultural environments.
