How Does It Work?
SomaTech combines advanced AI and biodegradable nanohydrogels to create a smart irrigation system that adapts to each farm’s unique needs. First, sensors and satellite data gather information on soil moisture, weather conditions, and plant growth patterns. This data is fed into our AI model, which predicts when and how much to irrigate to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
At the same time, our biodegradable hydrogels are applied to the soil, where they absorb and slowly release water around the plant roots. This helps maintain consistent soil moisture, even in dry conditions, and reduces the need for frequent watering.
Together, these technologies work in harmony to save water, improve plant health, and support sustainable farming. Farmers receive easy-to-understand insights through a mobile dashboard, making it simple to track conditions and take action when needed.
